Unnecessary and the program was he would continue into the west Lion and on to Cypress Bowl and she would return to Lions Bay and pick him up in Cypress Bowl,” she said.Colwell said the guy is not well prepared for the terms, with no backpack, food or extra supplies, along with his cellphone battery is dead.Crews scoured the trails in the area on Wednesday evening, and despite speaking with other hikers and campers in the area, found no trace of the man.Colwell said he may have slipped and dropped from one of those trails.

“It might appear he’s probably off-trail somewhere in this region and that right now is tricky since there’s lots of drainages, lots of forests and it’s pretty icy up there, there’s some snow on the road. “Searchers are utilizing a helicopter from Talon Helicopters and are bringing in the RCMP’s Air 1, each of which are outfitted with infrared sensing gear.Colwell mentioned finding the guy quickly is critical, and that search crews have been called in from teams across the Lower Mainland. “He is in serious danger I’d say, we have to move fairly quickly with this while he is still responsive so he could call to usmove maybe so we can place him from the floor teams or even the helicopter. “He said hypothermia and injury by a fall would be the primary concerns at this point.
