Crews are exploring after a northeast Calgary fire closed down a crescent on Saturday.Firefighters reacted to heavy smoke coming from a detached garage on the 0-100 block of Saddlemont Crescent N.E. before noon.With that the amount of smoke and proximity of houses, the Calgary Fire Department said another alarm was called in to get more funds on scene.The CFD was not sure about the source home’s damage but said that three people were going to be displaced in the brief term. Pets were at the house at the time; a dog was afterwards with the household and a cat stayed missing.AHS was there to assess people but no one had to go to the hospital.

Officers said houses on either side were affected and had damage. Individuals inside were displaced but should be able to return home in the evening, the CFD explained. Authorities said that the street leading to the crescent was shut until the region was deemed safe.The garage fire indicated the second one of their day in Calgary.
