Calgary police lay charges Following realtor sexually assaulted at house

Calgary authorities have charged with a 39-year-old man in connection to the sexual assault of a realtor at an open house earlier this year.The attack happened while the victim was operating at an open house in the 800 block of McKenzie Drive Southeast on Saturday, June 22.

The victim told authorities she had multiple connections with a man who came to the open house, and was then sexually assaulted.On Thursday, the Calgary Police Service said hints submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers and CCTV footage in the area had helped them identify a suspect. “Investigators believe this to be a random attack, since the victim and the suspect aren’t known to one another,” CPS stated in a news release.

He’s scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Anybody who has become the victim of a sexual attack can report it to Calgary authorities by calling their non-emergency amount at 403-266-1234, or 911 if they are in immediate danger.In Canada, there isn’t any time limit on how long a victim has to report a sexual attack.
