Toronto police say a defendant is in custody following six people were stabbed and near a home party in the city’s downtown late Thursday.Const. He said hospital employees were working to see to the victim, who was determined to have been in the Madison Avenue scene.Police initially said officers were looking for a guy possibly between 18 and 20 years old, who was last seen wearing dark-coloured clothes, in relation to the incidents.Hopkinson stated in an upgrade that a defendant was taken into custody. It’s not clear what, if any, fees the person in custody could be confronting.
